Knights of Meracydia Code of Conduct

Bannable Offenses: 
 

The following are offences that are not permissible. Any offenses committed, determined by an Admin, will result in a single warning. A repeat offense after a warning will result in a ban.
 

• Transphobia/Homophobia/Racism/Sexism, etc. This includes but is not limited to slurs, offensive commentary, and statements designed to make others feel uncomfortable. 

• Pedophilia or pedophilic comments. This includes the sexualization of minors, the descriptors "loli" and "shota", as well as innuendos involving characters who are not above the age of 18. 

• Pervasive misinterpretation of In Character (IC) actions versus Out of Character (OOC) realities. This can include but is not limited to, taking an IC fight and making OOC drama out of it, refusing to discuss IC issues with characters in a polite and respectful manners, and holding IC events/actions against the players of the characters OOC.

• Excessive drama. If you have a problem with somebody that you cannot solve on your own, please contact an officer to mediate.

Guidelines:
 

The following offenses have a large amount of grey area and therefore any behavior below that an admin feels is excessive will result in a strike. Three strikes for behaviors in this category may result in a ban from the FC. 
 

• Don't be rude or mean for no reason. 

• Respect boundaries and squicks - if someone asks you to stop, it's best to stop, and not push or debate the issue. 

• No salt in raid content - don't blame others if you're unwilling to learn. 

• Respect each others pronouns, gender, and sexualities.

• Keep dark topics or potential triggering subjects out of general chats. No one here is qualified to help in the event of a crisis, nor does anyone want to inadvertently make anyone feel unsafe in our server. (This includes topics like assault, self-harm, et cetera.)

This code of conduct is subject to change and admin discretion.
